The teams came out in shorts and jerseys for the final day of practice. Both Team Red and Team Silver came together to work on kick-off coverage. Brandon Barnes was the deep man for Silver and Carlton Thomas was returning for Team Red. The teams separated and went to their separate fields. They went through a final day of reps with their position coach and the rotation for the game. Team Red came together as a whole after positional drills and ran through several plays. This group went full speed, of course without any contact. The quarterbacks were a little off this morning, and that’s not a good sign heading into tomorrow’s game. Only a few targets were hit during practice while most of the passes were overthrown are out-of-bounds. The strong point of Team Red is the defense. The defensive line is led by Omar Hunter who has impressed everyone this week. The linebackers are flat out ridiculous. When Jerrell Harris is the first player off the bench you know you have a great group. Sean Spence, Ramon Buchanan and Uona Kaveinga are the linebackers expected to start. Charles Whitlock, Joe Adams and Janoris Jenkins have raised their stock this week at defensive back. Will Hill and E.J. Woods are expected to start at the safety positions. A good sign for Team Red is the return of Burton Scott. He was back in action today and looked healthy. Scott had a scare Thursday after flu-like symptoms and was hospitalized. Scott will rotate in at safety and cornerback in Saturday's game. Scout.com will host a live chat tonight at 6:00 p.m. Eastern to answer all your questions from the Under Armour game.
