After having an excellent week in practice, it was fitting that Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove receiver Josh Jarboe used the UnderArmour All-America Game to announce his college committment.
Jarboe committed to Oklahoma moments ago, choosing the Soonera over LSU, Georgia and Florida.
He had hats from LSU, Georgia and Florida on the table but pulled the Oklahoma hat from underneath the Florida hat.
At 6-3, 195, Jarboe is one of the top receivers in Georgia. His commitment to the Sooners gives them another stellar prospect in the class of 2008. At one point Jarboe was the top-ranked receiver in Georgia.
"I was excited to see how well he did here because based on his offense at Cedar Grove, hee never really had a chance to show what he could do. After seeing him what he could do with the ball coming his way against a high level of competition, he's going to move up closer to where he started the season, which was the number one ranked wide receiver in Georgia," said Director of Scouting Scott Kennedy.
