Coming in to the game we all knew about Terelle Pryor and his potential to move the ball through the air and on the ground. This afternoon Pryor made a convincing statement in front of a national audience in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl that he is the top player in the country. His ability as a dual-threat helped him cement MVP honors. | |||

Terelle Pryor, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound wide receiver from Jeanette High in Pa., made his presence felt from the East’s very first snap from scrimmage. On the play the five-star quarterback took the ball on a quarterback keeper and advanced it up the middle of the field for a 22-yard gain. He did not look back from there as he ended the day with 76 passing yards, completing 4-of-6 passes and rushed for 79-yards. After the game Pryor explained that it was not about proving any points he just wanted the chance to come out and let his natural abilities take over. “It felt good,” Pryor began. “It was not about proving my doubters wrong. I just came out here to have fun.” Pryor has been the center of attention all week and many members of the media have done stories about him saying that he has eliminated schools or narrowed his list down to two or three schools, but as Scout.com reported at the beginning of the week the five-star confirmed that was not the case. “That was false,” Pryor stated. Pryor then went on to re-iterate his list. “Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State,” Pryor said of his final schools. |
