Commitments Begin to Settle Visit Plans

Competing schools are working frantically in the last few weeks to get the most gifted and talened on to their campus for an official visit. Sometimes that means going after another school's commitments. Some college coaches have strict policies about their committed prospects taking visits to other schools. Mississippi State's Sylvester Croom says, "If you're looking, we're looking".

The Bulldog coach, like all other division one coaches, will rest a lot easier once his 2008 crop of recruits have been signed, sealed and delivered. Mississippi State currently holds verbal commitments from 20 prospects and 12 of those commitments hail from the state of Mississippi.
