USM enters the picture with Timothy Graham

Timothy Graham (RB, Benoit, MS) - After leading Ray Brooks to their second state championship in three years, the MS/AL All-Star selection is looking for a home.

"I am mostly getting calls from USM and Jackson State," added Timothy Graham.

Any visits set up?

"I am going to Jackson State today for a midweek visit, and that is all for now."

Where does USM stand?

"I have not set up a visit with them, but Coach Hughes is over there now. He recruited me while he was at Ole Miss. He asked me if I would be interested in going there. If I am qualified, they are going to give me a scholarship. They are recruiting me at RB."

What does Timothy need to qualify?

"I need a 21 on the ACT. I have a 2.0 GPA. I take the test for the first time in February."

Graham rushed for over 1, 700 yards, 29 TD's, 5 int's, and 2 forced fumbles for his senior campaign. He was named 1st Team All-State by the Jackson Clarion Ledger as an athlete, and was also selected to play in the MS/AL All-star game.

"I improved on my character and coming out and being a leader. That had a big effect on my teammates."

Which position will the 6' 1", 205 pounder play on the next level?

"Some like me at strong safety and some like me at running back. I really do not know yet."
