Bell Anxious to Take the Tour
Nick Bell Profile "I really want to find a good Church that I can go to while I am there," explained Nick. "I want to find a Church where I can spend some time when I am not working on football." The talented defensive end is anxious to spend some time with the young men he will gather with in the huddle as well as the study hall. "I am looking forward to getting down there, getting to know the other players and to spend some time with the coaching staff," said Bell. "I am looking forward to meeting everybody." While some other schools have been in contact with Nick, he has no designs on reopening his college recruitment. "This is the only visit I plan to take," said Bell. "I talk to Coach Charlie Harbison at least once a week and I feel good about everything." One of the things Bell feels best about is the promotion of Coach Harbison to defensive coordinator. "I feel good about it," said Nick. "He's my recruiter, so it makes me feel even better about my commitment to Mississippi State. He's a good Christian man. He is real upfront with you. He will tell you just what it is to your face." Bell reports that he is not expecting any late drama in his college recruitment and that he is working on meeting the NCAA's freshmen entrance requirements. "I am doing good with my grades," said Nick. "I am taking the ACT again in February. I am in good shape."
