Pritchard Looks to Make His Mark
Tyler Pritchard Profile "Things were a little slow this year," said Tyler. "We lost a lot of seniors and we had a new coach this year. We did pretty good." Pritchard was one of the top ground gainers in the state of Mississippi for the 2007 season. "I had 2,600 all purpose yards and I rushed for over 1,200 yards," said Tyler. "I made All Division one as a defensive back and I made second team as a running back. I think I will probably play running back in college." Several schools have already begun corresponding with Pritchard and he is hopeful that correspondence becomes more serious over the coming months. "I have already got some things from Alabama, Ole Miss, Washington, Virginia, Louisiana Tech and MSU," said Tyler. "Mississippi State is the school I would like to hear a little more from." The 5-9, 165 pounder has plans to attend his first college football camps this year. "I have never been to a football camp before," said Pritchard. "I am planning on going to camps at Alabama and at (Mississippi) State. Alabama has already sent me something to fill out about theirs." The shifty scatback reports that opposing defenses need to be careful about giving him too much room to operate. "I like to run out of the shotgun or the I," said Tyler. "I like to get out in space. I don't really like people out in front of me holding me up."
