Loomis (Calif.) Del Oro TE/DE Jack Reynoso had to wait a long time for an offer but his patience paid off over the weekend.
"We just got home from our official visit at Nevada," said his mother Jan. "We had a great time. They offered Jack and he gave them a solid verbal."
The commitment from Reynoso gives the Pack one of the better two-way lineman in Northern California and its a win-win situation for Reynoso.
"He is so excited. Its a perfect fit for him. We were so impressed with all of the coaches, football program and campus," said Jan.
The proximity to home for Reynoso also stood out.
"It is only 1.5 hours away so we will be able to see all of his home games," said Reynoso.
Reynoso becomes the second player from Del Oro to commit to a school in Nevada, with his teammate, Jason Heath, having verballed to UNLV.
