Vacaville (Calif.) linebacker Josh Kaddu (6-3, 210), who was offered by Oregon during the summer, took his official visit to Eugene this past weekend.
By the time he was gone, Kaddu had committed to play for the Ducks.
"Yeah, I committed to Oregon this weekend," said Kaddu. "It was a good trip there."
Kaddu said several factors played into his decision to choose the Ducks.
"Everything about it was great, but the environment, the coaches and the players really stood out," said Kaddu.
Kaddu got to know several of the other recruits on his visit and enjoyed that part of the experience.
"All the other recruits are real cool," said Kaddu.
Washington, Arizona State, Arizona and Fresno State had all offered the Vacaville star, but he said he's done with recruiting.
"I'm committed and done," said Kaddu.
During his 2007 senior season, Kaddu had 92 tackles, 5.5 sacks and two picks.
