Ferguson Makes His Choice
Sean Ferguson Profile Sean was selected to play in the Broward-Dade County All-Star game this weekend. It will be the second post game All-Star game for Ferguson. Ferguson tripped to Central Michigan this past weekend for what appears to be his final official visit before announcing his college choice. Sean's mother Philicia originally planned to take the trip Mount Pleasant, but circumstances prevented her from following through with those plans. "He said the visit went fine," said Sean's mother Philicia. "He got home on Sunday. I didn't get to go with him this time." Sean has received several offers, but appears set to decide between Central Michigan and Mississippi State in the very near future. Philicia has watched as her son has received attention and correspondence from college coaches around the country. The Miami-Herald named Sean as one of the Top 25 seniors in the Miami-Dade area and fourth on it's list of the area's top pass rushers. To say that Philicia is beaming would be an understatement. "I am really happy about everything," said Philicia. "I am really proud. He's my oldest son and he's the football star. My other son is in elementary school." With just over three weeks to signing day Sean is close to announcing his college decision and that announcement could come at any time. "It will just happen when he is ready to make it," said Philicia. Earlier this morning we were able to confirm with faculty members at Norland High School that Sean has decided to spend his college career at Mississippi State University.
