Covina (Calif.) South Hills defensive lineman Kebin Umodu has made his college commitment and he'll play in the Mountain West.
"Kebin took his official visit to the Air Force
Academy this past weekend and gave a verbal
committment on Saturday night," said South Hills executive assistant coach James Escarcega.
Oregon, UTEP and Utah all offered Umodu previously.
During his senior year, Umodu had 74 tackles and six sacks to help the Huskies to the CIF-SS semifinals. As a junior, Umodu had 87 tackles and two sacks in earning all-CIF honors and all-state underclass mention.
He also has good bloodlines as his older brother, Tobi, is a linebacker at UCLA.
