Geordon Hanohano, a 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive lineman from Saint Louis has committed to play for the home team, the University of Hawai'i. This news comes to Scout courtesy of Doris Sullivan and the PIAA.

Geordon, son of George and Rhonda-Lei of Waianae said, "I wanted to represent Hawai'i well and there is no better way to do it than playing for UH. I'm happy to be going to UH and to be a Warrior".

Geordon - ranked as the 4th-best player in the state regardless of position by Scout.com - gave his committment to new Hawai'i Head Coach Greg McMackin at the end of his official visit to the UH campus today.

Geordon was named to the 2007First Team All-State list in both the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star Bulletin. Geordon played in the HUB Classic Senior Bowl in December and was named top Defensive Lineman at the PIAA Evaluation Camp in May 2007.
