McClymonds High School Head Coach Eric Culberson, Jr. told Scout.com Tuesday that one of his players - Allen Carroll, a 6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman - has verbally committed to Washington over offers from Arizona, UCLA, Arizona State, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington State and others.

"Yes, I talked to Allen today, and he confirmed his commitment to Washington," Culberson said. Carroll had recently just taken a trip to Arizona, but apparently felt the fit with the Huskies was the right one for him. He took an official visit to Seattle in December.

Carroll is ranked as the No. 27 offensive guard nationally by Scout.com, and recently played in the UnderArmour All-America Game at the Disney Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Fla.

We will hopefully have more from Carroll and his decision to become a Husky shortly.
