Hall Reschedules LSU
Derrick Hall "Recruiting has been straight," said Hall. "I'm not totally sold on Texas A&M, but I am kind of leaning their way right now. I am going to continue to keep my eyes open until signing day." The Central Senior High School athlete was scheduled to make a trip to Baton Rouge this weekend, but stated his trip to Baton Rouge has been rescheduled. "I am going to visit LSU not this weekend, but the following weekend," said Hall. "I've been in touch with some of the LSU coaches and they said they want me to do what's best for me, but they would like me to sign with their team. They said they would talk to me more about it once I got there on my visit. "I've been to LSU before, but I've never really seen much of the school," Hall added. "So I plan on checking out the campus a little more and pretty much just waiting to see what happens on my trip." Scout.com's 4-star wide receiver understands players must compete in order to earn time on the field, but claims LSU might not have enough room for him. "I've watched LSU play before," Hall stated. "I love what they do on offense because they involve everybody. They spread the ball to the wide receivers, the running backs and even to the tight ends. "LSU is deep, though, at the wide receiver position and it is kind of a turn off for me," Hall continued. "Texas A&M has a new coach and they are going to be doing different things on offense. The players there are all starting from scratch so if a freshman comes in and he can ball more than an older guy then he is going to get the playing time. "At A&M whoever wants it more is going to get the PT. To me LSU seems like they are already set at some of the positions because they are so deep and they know who is going to be playing already, but I know if you can play football then you will get the chance to."
