Kenny Session, Scout.com two-star running back from Tulsa-East Central, (Okla.), is a dynamic…
Session a Secret Commit?
It had been rumored that Kenny Session, 5-foot-9, 195-pound running back from East Central High in OKla., had made a commitment to Kansas State, and Wednesday afternoon Scout.com caught up with him to get the scoop on what was going down. "I have made a commitment to Kansas State," Session reported. "Actually I have been committed for about a month now, but it was something that we decided to keep on the down low." "Really Kansas State has been the most loyal to me throughout the whole process. They have been holding out for me this whole time since I came up there last summer for camp. They are trying to make sure I had a way to get up there and play." Session will remind some Kansas State fans of former Wildcat running back Darren Sproles and he feels that the system will fit him like a glove. "I really like the way that they use their running back. With my size and speed I feel I will fit in their offense pretty good. I will definitely be excited when I sign on Tuesday (2/6)." The only hold-up for Session getting a good deal of scholarship offers coming in was his grade situation, and it seems it has all worked out. "I actually did pretty good," Session said. "I did not get the full results yet, but I took it in front of a counselor and she said that I made a 19 or a 20." As a senior, Session was recognized as the district 5a-4 offensive player of the year after rushing for over 1,200 yards and 176 touchdowns despite the fact he was nursing an ankle injury all season. Over the last two years he has rushed for an astounding over 3,756 yards and 53 touchdowns. Session will take his official visit to Manhattan this weekend.
