The next great running back from the City Section in L.A. very well could be Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft's D.J. Morgan.
Morgan was overshadowed by Valley foe, Milton Knox, but the class of 2010 prospect should get much more attention the next two years with Knox's storied career coming to a close.
As a sophomore, Morgan ran for 1,173 yards and 10 touchdowns on 173 carries and had 19 receptions for 230 yards and three touchdowns during the 2007 season and he also returned punts (24 yd avg) and kickoff returns (26 yd avg).
A First Team All-West Valley League pick during the 2007 season, Morgan was also named First Team All-City as a sophomore.
