"Yes,
my mother did."
How did you she like Ole Miss?
"She loved
it. She loved the environment and the atmosphere. She's in love with Coach Vaughn
and Coach Nutt. She loves Ole Miss."
Who was your host during your
visit?
"Gerald Harris was my host. He's from Texas. He transferred
from Navarro Junior College. He's a great guy. He helped me understand some things
that I needed to know. We went out each night and had a good time. I really enjoyed
him being my host."
What did you learn new about Ole Miss during your
visit?
"I learned about the tradition. The Manning family has a great
tradition here. I was expecting Ole Miss to be great and I was right. I also enjoyed
learning the new defense and how they would use me."
Tell me about
the new defense.
"We went in several position meetings. I went with
the safeties. Their defense is disguises itself consistently. They're looking
to put me at safety but they will move me up to OLB in many cases."
What
stood out the most during your trip to Ole Miss?
"The people and the
town were great. Everyone is really nice and they all love football. I also loved
the coaches. I also loved getting to meet the coaches. They are all great. I also
got along great with all the recruits and players that I met. The entire visit
stood out."
How did your meeting with Coach Nutt go?
"He
told me he loved that I was big hitter. I told him I loved that he was a good
coach. Coach Nutt was one of the first coaches I ever met. He's a great people
person and we always have great conversations."
What's next for your
recruitment?
"I'm done. I'm signing with Ole Miss."
Is there
anything you want to tell Ole Miss fans?
"We're going to beat LSU."
