Lansing (Kan.) athlete Chris Hill had narrowed his three finalists down to Air Force, Army and Navy.

And after visiting Annapolis this past weekend, he narrowed it down even more and made his college decision. "We returned from Annapolis a few hours ago," said his father, Chris. "He committed to Navy over the weekend."

What played in Navy's favor was their willingness to play Hill, and early, in the backfield.

"He will have an opportunity to work himself into the running back rotation as a freshman," said Chris.
