Fontaine Has Visits Set Up

Arthur Fontaine took some time out this weekend to attend the elite junior day event at Boston College and will be going on the road to visit several more programs in the very near future. He currently holds three written scholarship offers and is hoping to pick up more once signing day is over with.

Arthur Fontaine, a 6-foot-5, 248-pound tight end from Dartmouth High School in North Dartmouth, Mass., holds offers from Boston College, Connecticut and Maryland and is planning on visiting all three schools in the next few months. This weekend he went to Chestnut Hill for a junior day event and has plans to travel to Storrs this on Friday.

“I went to Boston College for their elite junior day and actually spent a lot of time hanging out with Brennan Williams who is a really cool kid,” Fontaine explained. “We will be seeing each other at junior day next weekend up at Connecticut, so we were just talking about which schools we liked and how recruiting was going so far.”

“This was the first time I got to see the entire Boston College campus and I really liked it,” Fontaine added. “It’s very compact because it’s right there in the city and there is a lot to do there. The buildings on campus were all very nice and we got a chance to go see the basketball game play Virginia Tech. I got to meet with all of the coaches for the first time including Coach Jack Bicknell and Coach Jeff Jagodzinski and I thought it was funny because Coach Bicknell wants me at tight end, but the defensive coaches want me at defensive end. It doesn’t matter to me either way frankly.”

Fontaine will travel to Storrs this weekend, goes to Virginia on February 24th and also has a visit set to Maryland on March 8th.
