Terrell Williams will be one of the top rated prospects in the state of Oklahoma for the class of 2009. He has just pulled in his very first scholarship offer and it is a big one as it proves he has put it all together as a student athlete. More offers are sure to follow as Williams has been hearing from some good ones. | |||

Terrell Williams, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound athlete from Edison Preparatory High in Okla., was happy to inform Scout.com that he had reeled in his very first official scholarship offer. “I just wanted to let you know Stanford offered,” Williams exclaimed. “It is nice. I let the coach know that I was real interested. I knew it was a good education school and they are really coming up under coach Harbaugh.” “It was a real good feeling. My parents were real excited. It was fun and it was nice to know that my mom and dad are real proud of me.” Williams is a versatile athlete that plays quarterback, safety, and receiver in high school, but because of his frame he could most likely grow in to a number of positions when he gets to college. “They see me growing a little bigger and maybe playing wide receiver or outside linebacker, maybe strong safety.” Williams said of the positions he is being recruited to play on the next level. Stanford has been letting Williams know that he is a priority, but there are some other schools hot on his trail right now as well. “I am hearing from Oklahoma State, LSU, Illinois, Arkansas, Arizona State, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, and Missouri,” Williams informed. Arkansas is a new school of interest for Williams, but he explained that he has been receiving much more interest since the new staff has taken over in Fayetteville. “My coach said that they are looking to offer,” Williams explained of the reasoning behind the Razorbacks now being on his list. The exciting athlete also had the chance to go to a junior day at Oklahoma last weekend and he had a great time. Could the Sooners be stepping up with an offer soon as well? “It was fun,” Williams began. “I got to get to know all of the coaches and players. It was a great visit. Everything was top-notch. The facilities are excellent and everything is nice. It was a really good experience. The coaches have called my coach an let him know that they are very interested.”
