Isaac Hosting Coaches

Braxton Isaac was promoted to varsity late in his sophomore season and has been a force for the Hurricanes ever since. He is already enjoying the fruits of his labor in recruiting, having many visitors at his school and is still awaiting that first scholarship offer at this point.

Braxton Isaac, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end from Bethlehem Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pa., is receiving plenty of interest already from schools like Georgia Tech, Virginia, Syracuse, Illinois, Maryland and Purdue, however Rutgers, Pittsburgh and Connecticut seem to be the most serious, having all visited him at school already.

"I just went out to Rutgers for junior day last weekend and talked to a few of the coaches who all just told me to keep my head on straight," Isaac said. "The campus and facilities are absolutely sick and I love it there. I was also down at the Scarlet and White game last spring."

"Head Coach Dave Wannstedt from Pittsburgh stopped by the school last week and was hanging around the locker room," Isaac explained. "He just said hello to me and told me that they would be watching my performance. I'm going to go down to their junior day with some teammates and heard it's pretty cool out there."

"Coach Hank Hughes from Connecticut stopped by too and seems like a really cool dude," Isaac stated. "He just told me to keep in touch and asked me if I would come up to see a basketball game before the season ends."

As a junior, Isaac registered 80 tackles, deflected 13 passes and had nine sacks.
