Magill Holding Verbal Offer
Cody Magill, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound two-way lineman from Quince Orchard High School has already been given a verbal offer from West Virginia, but needs to take a trip to Morgantown to seal the deal and get it in writing. Other then that he has been hearing from a number of other programs as well. "West Virginia wants me to come and work out for them personally on March 15th after I watch the spring game, so I'll be going down there," Magill said. "Right now I have a verbal offer from them and they said my performance there will determine if they put it in writing or not. I like them a lot and just spoke to the defensive coordinator on Wednesday. I also know a few kids that go there and they speak highly of the school." "I also have a good friend, Adam Masters, going to Connecticut and I have heard that the facilities are really nice," Magill explained. "They are definitely one of my top schools right now and I just want to get up there and see it for myself." "Other then that I have had visits from Head Coach Greg Schiano from Rutgers, Penn State has been in and so was Syracuse," Magill stated. "They all bring a lot to the table obviously. I also hear from Maryland and Boston College right now." As a junior, Magill caught eight passes for two touchdowns and added 45 tackles, 12 sacks, eight pass deflections and recovered four fumbles on defense.
