Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft linebacker Nick Bruce will pace what should be a very talented Toreadors squad in 2008.
Bruce is coming off a junior season in which he had 80 tackles, nine for loss, five sacks, four pass breakups and two fumble recoveries from his linebacker spot. He also had 53 carries for 329 yards and six touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass on offense.
He was a First Team All-West Valley League pick and was named a Second Team All-City Section pick in 2007.
Boise State, Cal, Colorado, Oregon, UCLA, USC an Washington are some of the early schools that Bruce is interested in.
