West Virginia has been busy offering players from the state of New Jersey this week and they recently extended another offer to a Garden State linebacker in Ka’Lial Glaud, a native of Atco. This is Glaud’s sixth offer so far and we talked to him a bit about his current recruiting picture. | |||

Ka’Lial Glaud was excited to pick up his latest offer from West Virginia, however the Winslow Township High School athlete was hoping to get it at a different position. Glaud is a standout at quarterback and linebacker for the Eagles, however the 6-foot-1.5, 215-pounder is being recruited primarily at linebacker. “Coach David Lockwood talked to my coach Michael McBride and West Virginia offered me a scholarship to play linebacker for them,” Glaud said. “I haven’t had the chance to speak with Coach Lock yet, but they had been sending me letters for a while and offered right after they saw my film.” “I was actually hoping they would offer me at quarterback because I love that spread offense they run,” Glaud explained. “I’ve always paid attention to their offense because it’s so fast-paced and exciting, so I don’t know much about their defense. I’ll definitely be looking into it though and my coach is going to take me out for a visit. His nephew (Jamil Tyson) played there, so he’s familiar with them.” Glaud has also been talking to Maryland a lot lately, however he has not heard too much from Penn State lately. Pittsburgh is another school that sends him a lot of mail, but has not been in school recently. |
