Memphis comes calling

The 6' 2", 225 pound back out of South Panola received some good news yesterday.

"Coach Johnson from Memphis called me last night and told me I had a scholarship offer. They sent it in the mail yesterday," added Reuben Corley.

The Tigers have an inside contact with the fullback.

"Dallas Walker has been trying to get me to come over there ever since this summer. We met last summer and have been talking ever since. We really hit it off when we met and have been talking every since."

Reuben was going to head over to Starkville this weekend for Jr Day but decided to visit another school.

"I decided I am going over to Ole Miss instead. I did a little research on how Coach Nutt uses their fullbacks, and I like how they used Peyton Hillis. Coach Pogue is going to bring me, LB Marvin Burdette, DL Kendrick Strong, and David Renfroe over there. I do not know if LB/S David Conner is going to go or not. He might not go to any Jr Days."

Corley still has two more Jr Days he plans on attending.

"I am still going up to Kentucky and Louisville in April. My brother lives up there, so I am going to go up there for the weekend and check out both of them."

MSU, Ole Miss, Memphis, Connecticut, Auburn, Kentucky, and Louisville have all offered, according to Reuben.
