Jonathan Stupar has been very active on the recruiting trail. Stupar is a four star tight end prospect from State College Area High School in Pennsylvania. He has already taken four official visits - Virginia (9-7), Arizona State (9-27), Iowa (10-5), and Florida State (10-26).
"Florida State was an awesome visit," said Stupar. "The atmosphere was just tremendous. 80,000 people did the tomahawk chop. Then I got to go eat with Bobby Bowden at his house. It was just a great visit."
Over the last month, Stupar also visited Arizona State and Iowa. Here is what he had to say about those two visits.
"ASU was totally sweet. I mean it is so different from where I am from, with palm trees and the desert.
"Iowa reminded me of home minus the mountains. It is all flat there. But I like the small town college town atmosphere. Plus, it is in the Big 10 and I like their coaches. Right now, I am open."
Maryland, UCLA, NC State, Miami and Notre Dame are being considered for his fifth and final visit.
"I don't think I will go to Miami or Notre Dame because they both just started really recruiting me. Maryland, NC State and UCLA have been on me for a long time."
It will likely come down to UCLA or NC State because the Stupar's could take an unofficial visit to the Terrapins. They have family nearby.
