For many fans it seems early in the recruiting process, but to the players in the class of 2009 it’s getting real busy. One of those juniors is Knoxville-Farragut, (Tenn.) offensive linemen Will Jackson. | |||

Even though Will Jackson does not have any offers at this point he has drawn a lot of attention. Jackson has a busy spring ahead of him with planned visits to Auburn on March 8th and 28th. He also has invitations to spring games at Virginia and Nebraska. Jackson also expects to visit Middle Tennessee, Tennessee, and Clemson. He explained what he wants out of his college choice, “First thing is how I get along with the coaches with the relationship I feel there. I’m looking for a place that feels like home.” Jackson had a great junior campaign helping his Admiral team into the playoffs. Offensive linemen are asked to do more than just block the man in front of him, and that is one of the strengths of his game. Jackson explained, “I go 110-percent every play. I’m not always trying to block just the man in front of me. I’m always trying to get to the second and third level to help clear the lane. I’m always going until the whistle sounds.” Even though it’s early in the process Jackson has a lot of great leads. A lot of college coaches will keep up with him during the 2008 season. As a junior he earned several honors including All-State, All-Region, All-County and All-City. Look for big things in the next few months out of Will Jackson. |
