The top player in Northern California this past season was Napa's John Boyett, the do-everything back who signed with Oregon earlier this month.

Boyett's senior season saw him pass for 1,827 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing for 1,527 yards and 20 touchdowns. He had 3,354 all-purpose yards and defensively made his mark with 81 tackles, three sacks and three picks.
