There are a number of highly thought of running backs in the Midland region for the class of 2009, but do not forget about Montee Ball. He runs with tremendous power and has great speed for a back with his size. In this feature Ball proves that he is one of the Midland's best in his junior year highlights.

Montee Ball, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back from Timberland High in Wentzville, Mo., already holds his first two official scholarship offers from Missouri and Kansas. Oklahoma and Iowa are also showing a strong interest.

Ball rushed for 3,077 yards and 32 touchdowns during his junior year. He was named first team All-State, first team All-Metro, first team All-District, first team All-Conference, I.A.F.O. (Officials) Athlete of the Year and and St. Louis American Athlete of the Year.
