Brady Evaluating Early Interest

McSherrystown, Pa., native Jason Brady has a number of programs stopping by and contacting him about his services and at this point he could have a busy spring and summer ahead of him with all of the camp and spring game invites he has been extended. We caught up with the interior offensive lineman this week to see what may be on tap.
Jason Brady
, a 6-foot-2, 275-pound center from Delone Catholic High School is waiting patiently for his first offer and has been hearing from a number of schools who would like him to come out and show his skills on their respective campuses over the next couple of months.
“Most of the mail I have been getting has been from
Penn State
,
Michigan State
and
Georgia Tech
,” Brady said. “I have also been hearing from
Purdue
,
Temple
,
East Carolina
and
North Carolina
.
Connecticut
and
Illinois
invited me out for their spring games and Penn State, Michigan State and North Carolina want me to camp there. The Spartans had sent me tickets to attend their game against Penn State this season, but I was unable to make it out there.”
“Coach Kevin Gilbride from Temple came to my school and watched my whole practice earlier this year while talking to both my head coach and offensive line coach,” Brady explained. “I was told that he came in interested and left interested, so that is a good sign. I know Temple is about two hours from home and that they’re an up and coming program that should be a powerhouse in the MAC in a few years. I’d definitely like to visit there.”
“I’ll be going to Penn State on April 5th for junior day,” Brady stated. “Year in and year out Penn State is an excellent football program and their players get a ton of notoriety. They also have one of, if not the best stadium in the country in Beaver Stadium. I definitely plan on camping there this summer as well.”
As a junior, Brady was named first-team All-League and the
Gettysburg Times
All-Star Team.
