Evans Reaches Double-Digit Offers

Shaquelle Evans, the 6-2 receiver from Inglewood (Calif.), who is one of the most heavily pursued receivers on the West Coast, received a tenth offer this past weekend.

"Oklahoma offered Shaq," said Inglewood recruiting coordinator Khalid Ali.

The Sooners joined Colorado from the Big 12 to have offered Evans.

Also having offered Evans are Pac-10 schools Arizona, Oregon, California, USC and UCLA as well as Notre Dame, LSU and UNLV.

During his junior season at Inglewood, Evans had 37 catches for 700 yards and six touchdowns. Academically, Evans has a 3.5 GPA and scored a 1230 on the SAT, qualifying him by NCAA standards.
