Arizona State got a huge boost to their recruiting class of 2008 when Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw receiver Kemonte Bateman committed to the Sun Devils in October and signed with them last month.

One of the elite receivers on the West Coast, Bateman is seen here in action during his 2007 senior season with the Cougars.

Bateman finished the year with 66 receptions for 1,104 yards and 12 touchdowns and was named to the Offense-Defense All-American Game in Miami.
