Gary Brown, a defensive tackle prospect from Gadsden (Fla.) West Gadsden made his decision last night, according to his high school coach, Robert Jackson.
"He's headed to Florida and I spoke with Urban Meyer this morning about it," said Jackson. "Gary is a great player. He's the quarterback of the defensive line. Gary believes he can make an impact on every play and control the outcome of the game. He wants the ball to come his way on every play.
"Gary is old school and he uses his athleticism to make big plays. Last season as a junior he recorded 25 sacks and 20 tackles for a loss. Gary Brown is just a dominating player."
Brown, 6-4 and 275 pounds, is the No. 38 overall player on the new Scout.com National Top 100 and the No. 6 rated defensive tackle in the country.
