San Jose (Calif.) Bellarmine Prep quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels had a strong junior year, leading the Bells to the WCAL title in 2007.

As a junior, Carta-Samuels ran for 262 yards and eight touchdowns on 81 carries. He was 83-for-138 for 1,171 and eight touchdowns in a primarily run-oriented offense and finished ninth in the WCAL in total points.
