San Francisco (Calif.) Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep running back Dasarte Yarnway picked up his first offer on Thursday, and it came from the Pac-10.
"I was told by my coach today that Washington State offered me," said Yarnway.
Yarnway's offer is the first of what should be many for one of the top players in the Bay Area in the class of 2009.
During his junior year, Yarnway ran for 1,408 yards and 19 touchdowns on 175 carries.
Next weekend, Yarnway will be at the New Level/Scout Pass Camp in Las Vegas.
