Three new offers for Scout.com's #29 offensive tackle

Recently named the #29 offensive tackle in the country, Lakewood (CO) Bear Creek's Jeremiah Sirles has seen a dramatic increase in recruiting over the past few weeks.

"I get a lot of calls and letters," says Sirles. "I probably bring home 17 or 17 letters a day."

Louisville, Colorado, Colorado State and Kansas State offered during his junior football season and Sirles tells us that Nebraska, Texas Tech and Arizona State have all recently jumped in the picture.

"Nebraska actually offered quite some time ago, about six weeks ago. They sent me a letter in the mail, all of my offers have been official letters." He adds, "It was an exciting feeling (getting the NU offer). I am very interested. I think Coach Pellini is a really good coach and a really good fit for them."

Sirles (6-7 270) says he may attend Nebraska's spring game.

Texas Tech is a school that Sirles he is extremely interested in because of his familiarity with the Red Raider's offense.

"I love that offense. It is the same one we run. Our coaches go down there every year to learn new drills."

"I like the zone blocking and the pass blocking," which Sirles says is his strength as a player.

The offer from Arizona State was a bit of a surprise to Sirles. "They had been sending me a bunch of letters and then I got an offer letter. I haven't really even talked to the coaches."

"One of my dad's corporate offices is in Tucson, so I might check it out this summer."

Sirles made it very clear that he has no favorite at this point. "I am keeping my options open," he says.

Jeremiah had an outstanding junior year which saw him make all league, all state and all Colorado.

"I was the only junior named all Colorado on the offensive line," he adds.

This season was derailed with a torn ACL which Sirles says he is rehabing from and is back to about "50-60%" right now. "I should be ready right at the beginning of the summer; maybe May or June. Just in time for summer training."

Stay tuned with Scout.com for more with Sirles in the future.
