Brandon Talks Camps

Becahi defensive back Tevrin Brandon doubles as a track star and football player and is just starting to get into the start of his recruiting picture for the latter. This summer he attended two camps which he spoke highly of when we talked to him about his recruiting on Thursday afternoon.

Tevrin Brandon did a nice job for Bethlehem Catholic High School as a junior, collecting 51 tackles while he broke up six passes and intercepted five more. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound cornerback has legitimate 4.49 speed in the 40-yard dash and showed that offer last summer to coaches at both Penn State and Boston College.

“I camped at Penn State and it went really well,” Brandon said. “I showed them my speed and really liked the coaches because they were really fun to work with. The camp was very organized and I liked the campus because while it was nice, it was also very big which is what I’m looking for. I was also up this past weekend for an indoor track meet and that facility was really, really nice.”

“Boston College was probably my favorite of the two camps,” Brandon stated. “I like the campus because everything is close together, but you also have Boston nearby, so there is a lot to do there. We played 7-on-7 every night up there and were coached by coaches from a ton of different schools. They let us play in the stadium which was really cool.”

Brandon will be visiting Villanova and Towson over the next two weeks.
