Woodside (Calif.) running back Jason Simpson is coming off a strong junior campaign in which he rushed for 912 yards and nine touchdowns. Simpson also had 20 receptions for 318 yards and a pair of scores and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.

Simpson was named an all-county running back, all-league kickoff returner and Special Teams Player of the Year and was named Woodside's HS Offensive Player of the Year.
