"I went to Alabama's Junior Day this past Saturday," said Anthony Orr. "I liked it a lot. The visit was a little bit different than the first one. I got to meet the President of the University [Dr. Robert Witt] and the athletic director [Mal Moore]. I spent time with my position coach [Bo Davis] as well."
"I have never met the president before, but I have met Mal Moore. They were just talking about the university. It was really nice."
"I really liked spending time with coach Davis. He showed me some stuff they do on the field, and we watched game film. I really like him a lot. He knows what he is doing."
"I talked to coach Saban for a while. He was telling me to stay on top of my grades. After that we really just talked about life in general. It was a real good visit."
The 6-4, 261-pound prospect will travel to Auburn this weekend for his second unofficial visit with the Tigers.
"I am going down to Auburn Saturday," Orr said. "I think they are having a scrimmage down there. I am looking forward to the visit. I want to see how they practice and how the coaches are on the field."
"Auburn is another one of my favorite schools. I like how they run things down there, and I like their coaches. I really like coach [Terry] Price and coach [Don] Dunn."
Orr has received scholarship offers from the in-state schools and thinks another big offer is on the horizon. He does not list any favorites and is not in any rush to make a decision.
"I still just have the offers from Alabama and Auburn," he said. "I think Tennessee is real close to offering me. Central Florida and Mississippi State are showing a lot of interest in me as well."
"I don't have any favorites right now. I am still wide open. I don't plan on making a decision until next year. Well, I might decide sometime this year."
Orr recorded over 60 tackles and seven sacks during his junior season.
