One thing you cannot teach is size and Payson left tackle Matt Wilson has plenty of it.
At 6-6 255, Wilson is a giant at the 3A level and he used that size to his advantage, dominating on both sides of the ball as a junior. He was named 1st team all 3A-1A on offensive and was named honorable mention at his defensive end spot after registering 64 tackles and 8 sacks.
Matt is on a few college coach’s radars and is getting interest from Oregon State, Colorado, Northern Arizona, UNLV and Azuza Pacific. He has not been offered yet.
