“I have a couple of offers,” said Angelo Hadley. “I have received offers from North Carolina, UCF and USF. I received those offers at the beginning of March. I am also receiving interest from Georgia, Auburn, Miami and Florida State.”
“I have visited Florida State, Florida, UCF and USF this spring. My top five right now would be North Carolina, Miami, Florida State, Auburn and USF.”
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect talked more about what has his attention at the early favorites.
North Carolina: “I haven’t ever visited North Carolina before. I have heard it’s nice up there. I am looking forward to going up there for a visit.”
Miami: “I like their facilities. I have visited there in the fall. I like what they have there.”
Florida State: “I like the city. They had a little highlight film of their football season when I visited. I really liked that.”
Auburn: “I haven’t visited there yet. I have heard it was nice up there. My fellow teammate [Eric Smith] signed with Auburn. Hopefully I can join him if I decide to go there.”
South Florida: “When I talked to the coaches they gave me a good impression on the football program. I like what I have seen.”
Hadley recorded 94 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries during his junior season. He was named second team All-State, Tampa Tribune All-County, team Defensive Back Award and team “Hammer” Award.
“I feel like I am aggressive," he said. "I am real aggressive toward the ball. It’s not hard for me to get to the ball. I get to the ball fast when it’s in the air. I am really trying to improve my one-on-one skills.”
Hadley has plenty of time before needing to make a college choice. He plans to take a hard look at all options before giving a verbal pledge.
“I am going to wait a little while before I make my decision," he said. "First I want to visit all the schools who have offered me or at least half of them. I will then know what I want in a school."
