Logan (Utah) quarterback Jeff Manning (6-4, 185), is coming off a junior year in which he led Logan (Utah) to the 3A State Title in 2007.

Manning threw for 2,280 yards and 29 touchdowns and rushed for 490 yards and 10 touchdowns. In five games, he played only a half because of Logan HS routs. In the semifinals, Manning threw for 238 yards and five touchdowns and in the finals, threw a touchdown and ran for two.

During the season, Manning was a First Team all-Valley pick, a First Team all-Region selection, First Team all-state by the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune as well as ABC Channel Four and was named Offensive MVP during the state playoffs.
