Pittsburg (Calif.) cornerback Avery Patterson is one of the top defensive backs in NorCal for the class of 2009 and he's seen here in action during his 2007 junior season...

Pittsburg (Calif.) cornerback Avery Patterson is coming off a solid junior year in which he had 31 tackles for the Pirates.

Patterson added a 5.73 ypc rushing clip and three touchdowns for the Pirates.
