Florida DB has offers
"I've already gotten offers from Arizona, South Florida, South Carolina, and FIU," Kayvon Webster said. "The ones I've gotten in writing are South Carolina and FIU. My coach told me he has the one from USF." Webster, 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, put his name on the recruiting map with a strong junior season in 2007. He finished the year with 90 tackles and three caused fumbles at safety. Playing receiver, he had 7 catches for 71 yards and one score. "I just really love the game and I'm willing to outwork anyone," he said. "I just love being out there competing." Webster said he hasn't given recruiting a whole lot of thought yet. "I don't really have a top five or anything yet," he said. "I like South Carolina a lot and I like South Florida and Florida." Webster, who grew up favoring Michigan, talked about what he'll be looking for in a school. "I'll be looking for a school with a good track team, somewhere that I can play early, and a school with good coaches and good academics," he said. Inside the classroom, Webster claims a 3.0 GPA and says he hasn't tested yet.
