Pontiac, Illinois athlete Jake Cunningham has give Purdue University his verbal commitment. Jake talks about a time frame for his official visit.

Jake Cunningham, a 6-foot, 180-pound, running back from Pontiac, Illinois is one of the best prospects in the Land of Lincoln.

Cunningham has already made a verbal commitment to Purdue and we asked Jake when he’ll take his official visit.

“Right now I’m not sure when I’m going to take my official visit.” Cunningham said.

“We’re still in the play-offs. Nothing is set in stone but I’m probably going to visit (Purdue) sometime in December.”

Cunningham has rushed for 1,300 yards so far in 2002. He’s been battling knee problems part of the season and every defense is keying on the speedy athlete.

Cunningham will play wide receiver for the Boilermakers.
