Fresno (Calif.) Edison perenially has the most talented secondary out West and with a strong class in 2009, Tevin McDonald is one to watch in the class the following year. McDonald talked to Scout about his recruitment and following in the footsteps of other great Edison players...

Fresno (Calif.) Edison safety Tevin McDonald, a 2010 prospect, has been around football his whole life, from his dad being a Pro Bowler with the 49ers and Cardinals and now coach at Edison, to his brother, T.J., a Scout 300 member for 2009, who's committed to USC.

McDonald will take over the safety spot next to his older brother this year, and he talked to us in Las Vegas about the tradition of Edison football, the school his family has ties to, and more.
