Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne safety Byron Moore received four offers this week, with the most notable one coming from an in-state program on Saturday.
"Cal offered Byron at Junior Day," said his father, Byron Sr. "They want him as a defensive back and Coach (Jeff) Tedford said he can return kicks and punts."
Moore was also offered by Colorado, Minnesota and New Mexico this week, to go with offers from Arizona and UCLA.
A U.S. Army All-American selection, Moore comes from the same high school that produced one of the best defensive backs Cal has produced, Nnamdi Asomugha.
Moore is coming off a season in which he finished with 86 tackles, 15 pass deflections and five picks defensively and scored twice. He also had 343 yards on kickoff returns.
