Sleeper Prospect: Junior Highlights of Yuma Catholic WR/S Roderick Ford

Yuma, Arizona has not traditionally been known as a hotbed for recruiting. Most of the D1 athletes come out of Arizona Western Junior College. But this year wide receiver Roderick Ford might make Yuma Catholic High School a stop for college coaches while they are visiting AWC.

At 6-3 185, Ford definitely has the size. He claims a personal best forty of 4.46 and has run just over 11 seconds in the 100 meters this year in track.

Last year Ford only played in five games but was able to haul in 17 passes for 456 yards and 3 scores and record 31 tackles and 5 INTs.

In efforts to make a name for himself, Roderick will compete against the best athletes in the Southwest in the Under Armour/ Scout.com Phoenix Combine on May 24th.
