San Francisco (Calif.) Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep running back Dasarte Yarnway was in Tempe this weekend to visit Arizona State for the spring game. An early morning meeting with head coach Dennis Erickson turned out to be bigger than Yarnway expected. "I just met with Coach Erickson and he just offered me a scholarship," said Yarnway. Yarnway's offer from the Sun Devils joins a previously held offer from Washington State. During his junior year, Yarnway ran for 1,408 yards and 19 touchdowns on 175 carries. Last month, Yarnway earned all-camp honors at the Badger/New Level Pass Camp in Las Vegas. |
