Junior highlights of Phoenix (Az.) South Mountain OL
It is hard to call a man that stands 6-3 and weighs 300 plus pounds a sleeper but few have talked about Phoenix (Az.) South Mountain offensive tackle
Fred Thornton
as one of the state's top offensive linemen but his name could be mentioned in the same breathe.
Make no mistake about it, Thornton is still raw but he has some tools that could make him a legit D1 prospect. He is big, uses his hands fairly well and will finish his blocks. He gets down field and runs well for a big man.
Fred says that he is hearing from
Arizona State
,
Colorado
and
Oregon
and has attended ASU's junior day. He does not hold an offer at this point.
